Chefs Profile
Executive Chef Corrado Tomarchio was born in Sicily but moved to Rome and then Milan, when he was just thirteen, to enroll in their accredited cooking school, Americo Vespucci.
After graduating as a Chef, he began his adventure.
 
At the age of eighteen, Corrado came to Toronto Canada and enrolled in a Food and Beverage Management course at George Brown College to compliment his extensive training.
 
Upon graduating with Honours, he worked in various fine dining establishments
Until; he was recruited to work at the Hilton Hotel in Toronto.
There he toiled along side the renowned Executive Chef Albert Schnell.
 
When Corrado felt he had perfected his expertise he began to search for the perfect location to open his life long dream.
After 18 years of servicing the Markham clientele and five years of the Pickering clientele, Chef and Owner Corrado Tomarchio, along with his business partners,
Karen Tomarchio, Stacey Whiteway and Keith McCaughley saw a wonderful opportunity in Brooklin Ontario.
The prime location of 38 Baldwin Street became available for purchase in June 2009
And Corrado’s Restaurant and Bar came to fruition on October 28th 2010.
